EccoSkim – surface skimmer

JUWEL EccoSkim combines the benefits of a surface skimmer with a compact design and powerful adjustable surface-skimming capacities. With a performance of 300 l/h at a consumption of only 4.4 W, the JUWEL EccoSkim guarantees effective surface skimming for freshwater aquariums.

Removes residue film and organic residues

The sucking power of the JUWEL EccoSkim skimmer allows residue film and other organic residues to be quickly removed from the surface of the water. More light is able to reach the bottom of the aquarium when residue films and other dirt has been removed which in turn increases oxygen content and promotes the vitality of plants and fishes.
 

Transports surface residues directly into the JUWEL filter.

The JUWEL EccoSkim may be used in all JUWEL aquariums. The filter mount allows the EccoSkim to be easily attached directly to the JUWEL inside filter.
Impurities on the water surface are effectively removed and transported directly into the JUWEL inside filter.

For All Aquaria

The appropriate suction mount allows the JUWEL EccoSkim to also be used in other widely available glass aquariums.

Dynamic float control

The JUWEL EccoSkim's float adapts to the water level and is therefore always ideally positioned for skimming surfaces effectively.

Continuously adjustable skimming performance

The JUWEL EccoSkim's skimming performance may be individually controlled. The power can be adjusted and therefore adapted to the aquarium's requirements by turning the control tube.

  • Yes. The JUWEL EccoSkim can be directly attached to the filter system in JUWEL aquariums of the Rio, Lido, Vision, Trigon and Primo 110 series.

    For all aquariums
    Thanks to the matching suction holder, the JUWEL EccoSkim is also suitable for use in aquariums from other manufacturers.

  • If you are operating the EccoSkim using the filter mount on the filter itself, it is not possible to also attach the FilterGrid to the filter. However, you can attach the EccoSkim to the glass using the provided suction mount, to make room to mount the FilterGrid to the intake slots of the filter.
  • The suction power can be adjusted using the flow regulation tube. By turning the regulation tube, the strength of the surface suction can be individually adjusted.
